The Award is a bi-annual event. The next WSA-mobile will be held in 2012.

National pre-selections for the WSA-mobile run through the WSA-mobile Expert Panel. Each national expert nominates and submits the eight best applications or projects from his/her respective country to the global contest. One submission in each of the eight categories.

In the absence of an open national contest, the national expert calls for a national selection panel in order to conduct the selection in an objective and fair manner. The WSA Board of Directors presides both over the WSA-mobile and the WSA.

To take part in the WSA-mobile global contest you have to be nominated by the national expert. There is no open registration. Check who is the WSA-mobile national expert in your country and send an E-mail to wsa@icnm.net for contact or further information.
