Grace is no longer isolated. Thanks to her mom, Lisa Domican, who invented an i-Phone App for Autists, she can easily communicate with others.

Take BBC Janala: 25 million Bangladeshis learn English with this mobile service that does not cost more than a cup of tea. Both BBC Janala and the Grace App for Autism won the World Summit Award mobile in 2010. These local applications show how mobile solutions can efficiently include others and have value add for users.

Olé! WSA-mobile Kick-Off in Barcelona
WSA-mobile started its second global contest lap in the eye of the cyclone:
at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. From 27 February to 1 March 2012 more than 60.000 CEOs, developers, journalists and stakeholders from the mobile branch met up at the world’s biggest event for the mobile industry.

National Experts seek mobile superstars: WSA-mobile registration phase
To ensure high quality applications the WSA-mobile network of international experts organizes national pre-selections. Each national expert nominates and submits the eight best projects from his/her country to the global contest: one submission in each of the eight categories. Selecting digital diamonds: WSA-mobile Grand Jury meeting in Abu Dhabi
The WSA-mobile Grand Jury 2012 will meet in Abu Dhabi in September. The WSA-mobile Board of directors is in charge of appointing an experienced and gender reflected jury.
